Albert Park Baptist Church!
Whatever your circumstances and no matter where you’ve been or what’s happened in your life, you are welcome in our community.
COVID-19 Building closure and Church Online
After much discussion, thought and prayer, the decision has been made by the Church’s leadership to suspend Sunday worship services in our church building effective immediately, until further notice.
We haven’t come to this decision lightly and we do so with our wholehearted love for you and the greater community at the forefront of our hearts and minds.
Please note, however, this does not mean we are closing our church! Jesus never intended for His church to be a building. His church was founded on the faith and the fellowship of His people and our fellowship and church at Albert Park will continue and be emboldened by God’s Spirit during this time. We will look a bit different, and try some new things, but we will carry on together.
Our digital service, APBC@Home, is delivered as a YouTube playlist, made available each Sunday morning. You can watch it anytime that suits you. Each playlist includes worship, a welcome, and a sermon. We often include updates from our church family, kids spots, and other local content.
At 11am each Sunday morning we have a zoom prayer session together.
You can receive a weekly Sunday email with the service and zoom prayer link, by subscribing to our newsletter.
To be wholehearted means to be fully or completely sincere.
To do something with enthusiasm and energy. To be all in.
Which doesn’t mean being perfect, on the contrary,
it means showing up as we really are, having compassion,
living and loving with our whole hearts.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your strength,
and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.”
