Welcome back to the Church Building

On Sunday the 14 June 2020 we were delighted to welcome everyone back to our Church building at 115 Kerferd road. If you wish to join us, we have services at 9 am and 11 am. There is a one hour break at 10am, where we serve morning tea in the kitchen.

Our Sunday service will look a little different to keep everyone safe, so I will give you a brief outline of what to expect below:

TIME
There will be two services- 9am and 11am. Each service is one hour.

AT THE FRONT DOOR
Our cheerful welcomer will be there to greet you. The welcome person will also be marking attendance- please ensure your name is ticked. This is a government requirement in case contact tracing is needed. If you come in the Richardson street side door, please see the welcome person in the foyer to tick your attendance. If you are a guest, we will need to record your name and phone number.

The foyer doors are also labeled ENTRY and EXIT to assist with one-directional flow.

IN THE SANCTUARY
The first thing you will notice is the small number of people. Each service has a maximum of 20 attendees (plus the team delivering the service). Once the sanctuary reaches 20 people, everyone else will be directed to the screens in the lounge and hall. Please use one pew per household.

IN THE SERVICE
The service will be much the same, albeit a little quieter and shorter. We will still have our ‘Say Hello’ time that everyone loves, just please keep your distance and don’t shake hands.

We will have communion on the first Sunday of each month, served in disposable prefilled cups.

Kids and youth programs will not be running during the services, and the creche/toy room is closed. Youth will run at 4.30 on fortnightly Sundays in the church lounge.

AFTER THE SERVICE
During the one hour break between services, the sanctuary will be cleaned and reset. Please see the deacon on duty if you can assist on the day. They will have a list of easy duties (mostly wiping surfaces).

During this break please enjoy a tea or coffee in the kitchen.

IF YOU ARE UNWELL, STAY AT HOME
If you feel even the slightest bit unwell, please stay home for everyone’s safety.
