Vale Rose Surbeck

In Loving Thanks for the Life of

Rose Surbeck

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39

It is with great sadness I pass on the news that Rose Surbeck has gone to be with her beloved Heavenly Father.

Rose passed away early this morning surrounded by the family she loved so much after a period of illness.

Our thoughts and prayers are especially with her husband Theo, her children Phillip & Rebecca, Jonothan & Jennifer, Christine, and her grandchildren.

Christine wrote a beautiful tribute to her mother below:

“At 4.20 am 22 July, mum peacefully passed away. What a joyful reunion she is having with her adoring father;  Stephen, the son she never held; and many other dear friends and family… and all in the glorious presence of her Heavenly Father, whom I am certain is saying, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Rose will forever be known as one of the mighty saints of Albert Park Baptist Church. She gave her all for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ here in her local church, overseas and through the many Christian organisations she was part of. She will be much missed.

The Committal and Memorial Services for Rose Surbeck will take place this Saturday 29 July 2017. The details are as follows:

1.30pm – COMMITTAL SERVICE
Altona Memorial Park
2-14 Dohertys Rd, Altona North VIC 3025

2.30pm – MEMORIAL SERVICE & Afternoon Tea

We look forward to remembering and celebrating Rose’s life and all she meant to us.

Grace and Peace
