Here is an overview of our services during the Easter weekend:
GOOD FRIDAY – 30 March.
Service will start at 9.30am.
This service will focus on a series of readings from the Bible that recount the events leading to the death of Jesus. We will also share communion. The purpose of the service is to recreate the betrayal, abandonment, and agony of the events of Jesus passion. This service invites us into the story and emotion of Good Friday. Given the subject matter, it will not be a ‘happy’ service and we will leave feeling things are unfinished because the story isn’t over until Easter Day.
EASTER SUNDAY – Sunday 1 April.
Service will start at 10am, our normal service time.
An exuberant, joyful celebration of God raising Jesus, the first fruits of a new creation, a new beginning for us all.
Remember that Daylight Savings ENDS on Easter Sunday this year. So you’ll need to set your clocks BACK by 1 hour.
